Supervised Instructor

 

Job Summary
Want to make a difference in someone's life? Want to make your own hours, while being a part of a supportive team that offers ongoing growth? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supervised Instructor to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will work with children and adolescents/adults to provide ABA Therapy aimed at improving overall well-being and socially significant behaviours. This role requires a strong understanding of Neuro-divergence, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients and their families.


Duties

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the behavioral needs of children and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices to promote socially significant behaviour changes.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular data collection and documentation.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in behavioral therapy


Requirements

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, CYC, ECE, DSW or a related field; Can be in progress
  • Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • A strong understanding of the Neurodivergent community.
