Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behaviour Analyst (BCBA/RBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis and experience working with children, teens, and/or adults, particularly those with special needs. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing training to staff and families. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavior management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop Neuro-affirming and individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote skill acquisition in clients.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) for all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children/adolescents/adults, particularly those with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with behavioural terminology relevant to patient care and behavioral health settings.
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis related to behavior intervention outcomes.
